The Economic Development Task Force was established by the Township Council in October 2013 to work on identifying economic development issues facing the Township and to recommend strategies and methods to promote and encourage new business investment and redevelopment of existing sites in the Township.
The Task Force was comprised of a diverse group of volunteers from the business, development, marketing, and health care fields and included representatives from the Hellertown – Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce and Lehigh University.
The Task Force began meeting in January 2014 and presented its final report on their findings to the Council in October 2014.
On October 15, 2014, the Task Force presented its Final Report to the Township Council. The report is divided into six sections.
